0:02 Hi there, my name is Pearline, I'm an HR manager in our company, and today I need to send an invitation to one of our managers, Isaac, who doesn't have access to Microsoft Embedder To do this, normally, you should have the email column in your platform, so if you click on the column visibility here, you
0:19 select the column email. You should see all the emails from your employees, in this case, I only have the email from Isaac.
0:25 So, uh, for easier use, I will just copy this email, and then to send him an invitation, I need to click on the little envelope icon here, where I need to paste the email, or write it by hand, and, uh, I need to select the language of Isaac, he speaks English.
0:41 So, I can just select English. Next, I need to select the role or roles that I need to assign to him, so when he logs into the platform, what will he be able to do?
0:51 These roles might differentiate from one company to another. So, in my case, I have all of these roles, but you might have only two or three roles, depending on your needs.
0:59 So, in this case, Isaac is simply a manager, and I can just send him an invitation. If Isaac were a head of department, so he needs to see multiple departments, I can also manage his departmental permissions by going on the, uh, key icon.
1:15 So, here I will see the whole departmental structure for the whole company, and I know that he's, uh, head of sales.
1:21 In my case, I would like him to, uh, see but not be able to edit anyone that is not his direct report from sales.
1:28 So, to do this, I can either, for example, select, the off-trade or on-trade departments. Or I can select the whole, sales department.
1:36 So, this button here will allow me to, select multiple departments at the same time. So, next, I can just, simply click on Save.
1:44 And when Isaac accepts the invitation that will arrive in his email, when he logs into the platform, he will automatically see everyone from sales, but only be able to edit his direct reports.
1:54 Of course, this step here, the departmental permissions is optional. So, I'm only doing this because Isaac needs to see more than his direct reports.
2:02 But if you are only a manager of, uh, one team, then he doesn't need to have any departmental permissions. And when he logs in, he would automatically see all of his direct reports.
2:15 I sent the invitation to Isaac, but I would like to also very briefly verify whether any managers have still not accepted the invitation.
2:21 So, I will just go back to team members here. And, uh, here I can add an extra column called pending invitation.
2:30 So, in here, I can select a filter that, uh, will filter out anyone that has not yet accepted the invitation.
2:36 You can also see those people here. So, you can see that the envelope icon has been replaced by these two envelopes, one meaning that you can invite them again, and the other one means that you can cancel the invitation.
2:48 So, if they have not accepted it yet, you will see both of them, but if they have accepted them, so they become a user in the platform, you will see something like we see here for example.
2:58 So, for Maya, we don't see the envelope anymore, but we do see that the email and roles here are filled out.
3:05 This means that she has been registered as a user, so now she can access the platform successfully. So, if I wanted to see anyone that has not yet accepted the invitation to the platform, I can use the filter of pending here, and I can just select pending.
3:19 In this case, I only have Isaac, but if you have invited multiple managers and you're still waiting to see whether they've accepted them, you can, uhm, use this filter to view them all.
3:38 Also, if you would like to filter on only the people who are managers, for example, even before sending out the invitations, if you're a first-time customer and you need to send invitations only to managers, you would like to, normally view only the managers here.
3:52 First, you can consult this column here, manage, which indicates how many people      . ,        ,         . ,     uh, says is manager, and when I do that, I will       .
