Administrator - How to Export Data from myQ7Leader

This article explains how to export data (Team Members, Objectives, Campaign Reports, and RDPs) from MyQ7Leader, and how to convert a CSV file into an Excel file.

Export your Data

This option refers to all tables that support data export. 

Team Members

Navigate to the Administration section, then "Organization" and select Team Members.

Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select “Export Team Members to CSV” to download your file.

Objectives

Navigate to the Administration section, then "Objectives" and select "Library"

Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select “Export Objectives to CSV” to download your file.

RDP

Navigate to the Administration section, then "Roles Descriptions and Profiles" and select "Library"

Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select “Export RDP to CSV” to download your file.

Campaigns

Navigate to the Administration section, then "Campaigns" and enter in the selected campaign. 

Then go to "Report" and then "Download Report". 

Once your file has been downloaded, you will need to convert it to Excel format to work with the data.

Transform your data from CSV to Excel format

Note: The names of the buttons may vary slightly depending on the version of Excel you are using.

  1. Open a blank Excel File.

  2. Go to the Data tab, and click the “Get Data” button.

  3. Select “From File”“From Text/CSV”.

  4. Locate your CSV file in your documents, select it, and click Import.

  5. Choose comma as delimiter. 
  6. Click on "Transform the data"
  7. Click on "Close and Load"
  8. Your file will appear in Excel, but it will still be saved in CSV format. To ensure your data is preserved and not lost, save it as an Excel file (.xlsx).
